1. Information We Collect
In providing the Service, we collect the following information.
Record content: the text of activity records that users freely enter into the Service
Account information: the minimum information required for authentication, such as the email address associated with the Apple/Google account used to sign in
Usage data: operation history such as saving, analyzing, and viewing records, app launch activity, and error/crash information (excluding the body text of records)
Device information: technical information necessary for the Service to function correctly, such as OS type and version, app version, and time zone
Notification token: a device token used to send push notifications (if notifications are enabled)
We do not conduct cross-app tracking for advertising purposes in the Service, and we do not access location data or the photo library (we prioritize methods that do not require such permissions, such as saving shared images).
2. Scope of Data Sent to AI and Consent
The core feature of the Service, behavioral analysis, uses technology provided by an external AI provider (Anthropic, PBC, etc.), and we send the minimum necessary portion of the recorded text to the AI provider. This transmission does not include information that could directly identify the user, such as name or email address.
Consent to AI analysis is a mandatory condition for using the Service and is collected only once, during initial onboarding. If you do not consent on the consent screen during onboarding, you will not be able to use the Service.
There is no separate screen for reviewing the scope of data sent or withdrawing consent afterward. If you wish to withdraw your consent, you may do so by deleting your account and data (account closure). You cannot maintain your account and continue using the Service while your consent remains withdrawn.
We do not use the content of your records for training data or manual review for the purpose of improving AI service quality without your individual consent (except where you have separately and individually consented to the quality-improvement cooperation setting, which is OFF by default).
The AI provider we use for AI analysis is Anthropic, PBC. The handling of the data we send (including how long it is retained) is not determined by us; it is governed by Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy.
3. Disclosure to Third Parties
Except where required by law, we will not disclose personal information to third parties without the user's consent.
The "transmission to the AI provider" described in the preceding section (Section 2) is carried out as outsourced processing necessary for providing the functions of the Service, and we outsource such processing only after entering into an appropriate agreement with the AI provider.
To the extent necessary for operating the Service, we may entrust the handling of the minimum necessary information to cloud infrastructure providers, payment/billing platform providers (App Store/Google Play, RevenueCat, etc.), and notification delivery providers (Firebase Cloud Messaging, etc.).
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Data such as the original text of records, structured data from AI analysis, the history of changes to ability scores and XP, AI profiles, and weekly/monthly reports is retained for as long as the user continues to use the Service.
When a user deletes their account (closes their account) from the Settings screen, user data—including the original text of records, ability scores and analysis results, AI profiles, weekly/monthly reports, and account information—is completely deleted from the server and cannot be restored. Where payment records must be retained under applicable law, we may retain them separately, limited to the minimum necessary scope and period.
5. About Subscriptions (Auto-Renewal)
The Service offers a paid subscription plan (Premium) that provides access to additional features. Unless canceled by the user, paid plans automatically renew at the end of each plan period, and the same price charged at the time of purchase will be charged again upon each renewal (in the event of a price change, the store's notice will apply).
To cancel, please do so from the subscription management screen of the store you used (App Store or Google Play) before the next renewal date. Deleting your account within the Service does not automatically cancel your subscription on the store side, so you must cancel separately through the store. Some information related to payment and subscription management is processed through a payment platform provider (RevenueCat, etc.).
6. Security Measures
We take reasonable security measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of user information, including verifying authentication credentials, encrypting communications, and minimizing access privileges (the system is designed so that users can only access their own data).
System logs do not output sensitive information such as authentication credentials, the body text of records, email addresses, or full AI responses.
7. Disclaimer
The analysis results, suggestions, and evaluations provided by the Service are estimates and visualizations of trends based on the content you enter, and are not definitive assessments. They are not a substitute for medical treatment, psychological counseling, diagnosis, treatment, or other professional advice, and we do not provide the Service for such purposes. If you feel unwell physically or mentally, please consult a doctor, counselor, or other professional.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is designed primarily for adults, and we do not intend for billing or behavioral evaluation to be directed solely at minors.
9. User Rights
Users can regenerate their AI profile and delete their account (close their account) from the Settings screen. Consent to AI use is obtained during onboarding, and if you wish to withdraw it, you may do so by deleting your account (account closure).
10. Changes to This Policy
We may change the content of this Policy as necessary. If we make a material change, we will notify users through appropriate means, such as a notice within the Service.
11. Contact Us
For inquiries regarding this Policy, or requests for disclosure, correction, or deletion of personal information, please use the in-app support feature. This website cannot open the app's settings screen, so please use the app itself to contact us.
12. Handling of Support Inquiries
Messages you send through the in-app support feature are transmitted to and stored on our support platform (enquete.hokkapp.com).
The following information is sent:
- The text of your inquiry
- Any images you attach to your inquiry (if attached)
- An anonymous identifier used only for support (not linked to your account)
- Your app version and OS type
- When you report an issue with an analysis, an identifier of the relevant record (not the content of the record itself)
Please do not include sensitive information such as passwords or credit card numbers in your inquiry text or attached images.
Replies from us are protected by a key stored on your device. If this key is lost, you will no longer be able to view past conversations.
